My name is Kate, and I’m delighted to serve as the Director of The Goddard School in Wilton, CT. I’ve been part of this wonderful community since August 2018, working in several roles including Lead Teacher, Team Lead, and Assistant Director. I began my career in early childhood education in 2011 and completed my Child Development Associate in 2017. I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a dual degree in History and Human Development & Family Studies, along with a minor in Spanish. I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Public Health. A personal ambition of mine was to see as much of the world as possible before settling down, so I dedicated many years to traveling around the world. Most recently, I lived and worked in South Korea as an English teacher, where I discovered my passion for teaching. Prior to that, I always found myself at ease when working with young children whether nannying, working at camps, or supporting refugee children at IRIS in New Haven. Hello, my name is Janice. I’m a wife, mother, and caregiver, and I’m excited to be part of The Goddard School team! I have many years of experience teaching children of all ages and earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from NCC, graduating with honors. My passion for teaching grew from being a mother and coming from a large family—there is nothing more rewarding than watching a child learn something new and knowing I played a part in that growth. I believe every child is unique and learns at their own pace, and I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where they can thrive. I have been proud to be part of the wonderful team at The Goddard School of Wilton since August 2018. Hi! I’m Nalini. My journey began in 2018 while I was completing my degree in psychology. That first teaching role sparked a lifelong passion for early childhood, and I haven’t looked back since. I am currently deepening my expertise by pursuing a master’s degree in early childhood and special education.
