• Ms Kate

  My name is Kate, and I am ecstatic to be the Director of The Goddard School in Wilton CT! I have worked at this school since August of 2018 and have had different roles including Lead Teacher in the classroom, and Team Lead and Assistant Director. I have always had a passion for working with children of all ages; Infants through Pre-K. I obtained my Child Development Associate in 2017 and ever since my career began in 2011, I have loved helping children discover the world around them. I strongly believe in attending to every child’s individual need by giving them the space and opportunity to explore through their imagination. Stepping into the role of Director, I am inspired to support the teachers in facilitating a healthy, fun, safe, and enriching environment. I look forward to working with and supporting you and your family.

  My name is Laura and I am so excited to be part of The Goddard School Wilton as Assistant Director! I am a graduate from Skidmore College with a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Education Studies and I have a passion for working with children. I am honored to be a part of so many childhoods and love to see children reach different developmental milestones. I hope to help guide children to be our future leaders and create a safe environment for them to thrive in. I look forward to getting to know all of the amazing staff, children and families at Goddard!

  Hello, my name is Amanda Williams. I am a proud mother of two amazing little ones. I have been in the education field for 14 years. I am currently pursuing my education in Child Behavioral Therapy. I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the Goddard School team. I am looking forward to building connections with the children and helping them become the best they can be.

• Ms Anca

  I am thrilled to be part of this amazing Goddard School team since 2018. I have a Bachelor Degree in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education, and was pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Languages and Literature at the University of Spiru Haret, Bucharest, Romania. I worked as an Elementary School teacher for several years before I was given the opportunity to share my knowledge and study/learn more in the US. Working with so many different age groups made me realize that my true interest is in Early Childhood, where I can give my young students a strong academic foundation and help them develop skills that will prepare them for kindergarten! Looking forward to working with so many Goddard families!

  Hi! My name is Angel and I am super excited about joining the Goddard School and teaching. I have previously taught infants, toddlers, and 3rd grade. I was born in Atlanta and raised in Connecticut. I have my Bachelors and Masters Degree from Southern CT State University. I love teaching and making learning fun! I look forward to this school year and many more!

  My name is Ms. Christine and I am excited to be joining the Goddard School family! I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a dual degree in History and Human Development & Family Studies with a minor in Spanish. In the past ten years I have worked with children in tutoring programs to promote language and literacy development, as a nanny and a custody monitor. Most recently, I was an elementary assistant teacher in an out-placement special education school. My favorite thing about working with children, especially younger ages, is getting to experience their natural curiosity and creativity. I am looking forward to working with my fellow teachers to create an environment that allows each child to succeed academically and emotionally and encourages their innate desire to explore and learn about the world around them.

  Hello, my name is Janice, I’m a wife, mother, and caregiver to my father. I’m excited to be a part of the Goddard School team! I have many years experience of teaching children of all ages. I have earned my degree in Early Childhood Education, which I obtained at NCC, while graduating with honors. My passion for teaching began as a mother, and also having a large family. My daughter opened my eyes to the rewarding life of working with young children. I find joy in witnessing a child learn something new, knowing I was the influence in their doing so. I love working with children and it amazes me what young children are capable of learning when they are in a safe, nurturing and supportive environment. My philosophy is that each child is unique, therefore they learn and thrive at their own pace. “Fair isn’t everybody getting the same thing…Fair is everybody getting what they need in order to be successful.” I found this quote to be meaningful and accurate while working with children. I can’t wait to come familiar with all the children and families here at the school. I’m excited to be your child’s teacher, not only to teach them, watch them grow, but also to learn from them myself. I enjoy spending time with my family, and cooking. Recently I have been busy helping my daughter start her lip gloss business Khorri’s Beauty Bar.

• Ms Jen

  I am so pleased to be part of the amazing team at The Goddard School here in Wilton, since August 2018. I enjoy spending my days in the classroom helping children prepare for kindergarten through curriculum-based plans full of song, creative arts, collaboration and incidental teaching. I enjoy fostering relationships with students of varied abilities and partnering with administration, peers and parents to ensure I do the most I can for each child. Building relationships on trust and caring is the most rewarding facet of my time spent in the classroom. I have degrees in English and Journalism from the University of Connecticut and found my way into the education system through my children. When they were both in school full time, I began working in the public schools as a literacy para so I could share their schedule. From that point on I was hooked, and when my family moved to Maine, I became a Pre-K teacher at a private center. I am so happy to be back in this setting and look forward to the opportunity to work with your children. **Ms. Jen was our Teacher of The Year in 2021! She went on to win the Goddard School Northeast Region Teacher of The Year, and we are SO proud!!

  My name is Lisa and I am so happy to be a part of the Goddard family. I have over six years of experience working with Pre-K students, and I have an Associate’s Degree in Educational Studies. I absolutely love teaching and watching kids grow, both academically and socially. I’m very excited to get to know and learn from the amazing team of teachers here at The Goddard School in Wilton. When I’m not working, I’m spending my free time in the Gym and with friends and family. I look forward to getting to know all the amazing students and families and creating memories that will last for a lifetime.

  I am thrilled to have accepted a role at the Goddard School. I hold a bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies from Southern Connecticut State University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Elementary Education at Liberty University. With four years of teaching experience, I find the educational field incredibly rewarding, witnessing tangible growth and progress in children. My background includes teaching Preschool and Pre-K at the Goddard School in Fairfield, CT, and working in Stamford Public Elementary Schools (K-5). Additionally, I have experience in special education classrooms (K-2nd) working with students with Autism, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet diverse educational needs. As an energetic educator, I possess proven skills in teaching various subjects. I excel in maintaining organized classrooms and keeping students on-task, creating warm and safe educational environments that cater to individual student needs.

  My name is Sareen. I have been caring for children since I was 12 years old. I have my Bachelor's in early childhood education from Ireland, where I was born and raised. I moved to the United States in 2012 as an au pair and continued my childcare career from there. There's nothing I enjoy more than developing little minds and watching them grow and learn everyday!

I love working with children for the sheer joy of seeing their growth and the spark of discovery in their eyes. Teaching young children is incredibly rewarding as it allows me to nurture their curiosity and be a part of their journey of learning.

  I'm Allison and I'm thrilled to join the Goddard School teaching staff as a Resource Teacher. I've recently shifted my career into Early Childhood Education after working 11 years in corporate retail. Being a mom of three, whose children have attended and are currently attending the Goddard School, I believe in the curriculum and learning environment set forth here. I'm excited to be a part of developing the whole student throughout the Goddard School's Wonder of Learning curriculum. Most importantly, I'm looking forward to developing great relationships with the students, families, and staff.

  Hello everyone! My name is Carlie and I am excited to be joining The Goddard School Team. I have been working in the childcare field for almost 4 years. I started my teaching journey in Colorado and just recently moved back to Connecticut. I love working with children and helping them feel comfortable being themselves. The way their brains develop in such a short period of time is fascinating to me. It is rewarding to be a part of their learning experiences. I look forward to learning from my co-teachers and becoming a lead teacher myself.

  Greeting's Friends and Families! My name is Devora and I am so eager to join the team! I've been working in the education field for over 6 years, and I absolutely enjoy every part of it. I have experience working with children in a professional setting, as well as being an aunt to my nieces and nephews, and an older sister to my siblings.   Hi! My name is Genesis. I am so thrilled to be part of The Goddard School team! I joined this school in February 2023. I’ve been working with kids since a young age I have always loved teaching. I plan to continue to help each child grow and thrive. My favorite part of teaching is interacting with the kids and learning what makes them comfortable.   Hello! My name is Jasmine and I am thrilled to be joining the Goddard School team! I have 7 years of experience with childcare. I have been an assistant teacher, babysitter, and nanny. I have also been a Registered Behavior Technician. I love and enjoy working with children.   Hi! My name is Jimary. I am so grateful and honored to be a part of The Goddard School team! I've been working with Infants & Toddlers since 2017. I started off babysitting and decided I wanted to work with children starting my career as an early childhood professional at another child care center where I worked for 3 years. I joined the teaching team here at Goddard in October 2022. I love working with children, I love to see the process of how each child grows and develops, little by little. I love how happy and excited their faces get when they learn new things! I enjoy working with each child and helping them develop their own originality and individuality at an early age. I look forward to seeing each child develop in their own way, and getting to know all of the families here at The Goddard School in Wilton!

  Hi! My name is Liela and I am very excited to be joining the Preschool teaching team at The Goddard School in Wilton! I am thrilled and looking forward to the new adventures with Preschool. I previously worked at another childcare center where I was Assistant Teacher and I look forward to becoming a Lead Teacher as I begin my Early Childhood Education journey! Growing up as an older sister has prepared me for this experience and helped me realize that teaching and helping children is something that makes me feel good, and I enjoy each and every day in the classroom!

  Hi, my name is Rafaela! I've been working with children since 2012. I was born and raised in Brazil and moved to the United States in 2017. Since then, I was an Au Pair, a childcare teacher, and a nanny. I am completing my associate's degree with early education.   My name is Shemeca, and I'm thrilled to join The Goddard School-Wilton. With 11 years of experience as an infant/toddler teacher, I plan to be a mentor and advocate for those with a passion for this profession. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Education with an ECE concentration and a minor in Communications. My passion for working with children began as a volunteer in a home daycare and as a community babysitter. During college, I held leadership roles to enhance my classroom skills. I left teaching to pursue my business, but, I recently returned to the classroom to better serve my community. I am currently pursuing a master's in Social Emotional Learning and Yoga instruction.
